Rita’s Agave y Tacos is a little different than most restaurants, and honestly, we like it that way. We’re a laid-back basement hangout tucked beneath Kenosha on historic Main Street in downtown Breckenridge, where fresh tacos, handcrafted margaritas, and good company matter more than reservation books and phone trees.

📞 Can I call Rita’s?

Nope!

Believe it or not, Rita’s doesn’t have a public phone. We retired it after COVID and never looked back.

If you have a question, the contact form below is the best way to reach our management team. If you’re already in Breckenridge, the easiest solution is usually to just come downstairs and say hello.

🌮 Can I order tacos to go?

Absolutely.

We don’t offer online ordering, but we’re always happy to make tacos to go whenever we can.

Most orders only take a few minutes unless several tables happen to sit down at once. If there’s a little wait, we’ll let you know. Good tacos are worth a few extra minutes.

🍹 Do you take reservations?

We don’t.

Rita’s has always been first come, first served, and we don’t have a traditional host stand. One of our bartenders or servers will happily let you know if a table is opening up soon.

One exception: Thursday Trivia.

Trivia Night is one of our busiest nights of the week, so arriving a little early is never a bad idea.

Absolutely.

We may be known for margaritas and agave spirits, but we’re just as happy serving families.

Kids love building their own tacos, parents appreciate a relaxed atmosphere, and our menu includes simple favorites like cheese quesadillas and meat-and-cheese tacos for younger diners.

Everyone is welcome downstairs.

We do!

Our sidewalk patio sits right along Main Street and is a great place to enjoy tacos, margaritas, and people-watching during the summer months. Patio heaters help keep things comfortable as the mountain evenings cool down.

We’re located downstairs from Kenosha in the heart of downtown Breckenridge.

One thing to know—we get a surprising number of people who walk halfway down the stairs and ask,

Kenosha’s famous deck is upstairs. Rita’s has its own patio out front on Main Street, plus the cozy basement atmosphere that’s made us a local favorite for years.
